TURKEY SALAD SLIDERS WITH BRUT CRANBERRY SAUCE
Pair with Dark Horse Brut
INGREDIENTS:
• 12 oz fresh cranberries
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup Dark Horse Brut
• 10-to-12 dinner rolls
• 4 cups cooked turkey, chopped or shredded
• ½ cup celery, diced
• 1 green onion, thinly sliced
• ½ cup mayonnaise
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tsp sugar
• Salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
For the cranberry sauce, combine ½ cup sugar and wine in a medium-sized pan and bring to boil. Add cranberries. Stir and cook on medium heat until berries burst. Remove from heat. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
For the sliders, combine turkey, celery, green onion, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and sugar in a large mixing bowl. And salt and pepper to taste. Mix until a creamy turkey salad is formed. Serve on toasted dinner rolls, topped with cranberry sauce. Pair with Dark Horse Brut for a delicious treat.
